  1. Mitchell evans?
There is no such person on PTBO
    Just another scam/

  2. where the hell are the AA players….jesse gregory is better than half the kids up their

  3. What about Neuman on YSE, Ulrick on Quinte and Moody on Richmond Hill ?

  4. Nevermind, Ulrick is up there, my bad …

  5. what are u smokin?

  6. Watched Huron Perth in last 2 playoff series & saw some tournament games. They are dominating when they want to be. Cowings game has dropped off slightly from last year while Mciver is gaining momentum. Watch out for this D-man to make a splash. When paired with Nichol the tandem is virtually unbeatable.

Top 5- Meurs- Cowing-Penney up front with Mciver-Nichol on the back end

  7. What about Jonathan Chapman, Taylor O’keefe, Evan Canzi and Shane Macdonald from the Guelph Jr. Storm, I have watched a few of their games and they look like the have some potential.

  8. this list is missing lots of talented hockey players for example Drake Wilton, I think that is his name from the Oakville Rangers

  9. Where the hell is Thibodeau from Sault, Kord from Timmins and Cameron from Northbay. This site is missing alot of raw talent.

  10. I have watched the Oakville Rangers play and there top line of Ryan Adams, Adrian Skakie and Drake Wilton are a powerhouse every game they play.

  11. What are u talking about Mark! …
there are no key players on guelph that i have seen.

  12. You’re right Jordan, Thibodeau is a monster- 6′ winger that plays hard on the boards; Kord is a personal favourite- very smooth skater but should play forward with Levesque.

  13. Ron do u watch hockey??? Guelph has double as many good players as Oakville does, I will say Oakville does have a few but Guelph has a stronger core of players.

  14. Colin Sharpe should be on the list as well. A real smart player…and has great hands.

  15. Mark, you say that Guelph has better players than Oakville? Check out what happened in the OMHA’s, Guelph went 0-4, and Oakville lost out in a tie break, and Oakville also beat Guelph 2-1. Shut your mouth and get your stuff straight.

  16. Well John, has the 93 oakville team ever gone to an OMHA tournament, let alone win it?? If my stats are correct Guelph won the OMHA’s in 04-05 so clearly I do know my stuff.

  17. Actually, four years ago they made it to the OMHA’s. They may not have won it but they gave it a shot. Beating York Simcoe, and Clarington, but not getting into the finals… The only way Guelph can even win a game is if theyre at their home rink with their paid refs and their cheap shots…
    yup

  18. I will give you that the guelph defense is better then oakville but oakville has i would say one of the best offensive groups in the league. Plus i still can’t get over the way that Adrian Skakie, Drake Wilton andRyan Adams have played over the season no other team has the chemistry of those players

  19. where is ulrick from quinte. miller and rogers from timmins. noxly emmerton and salo from rebels griffith and fox and bean from chatham. gillies ox and moore ?..i think the list needs to be updated? cause it is missing some good hockey players

  20. ulrick is on there

  21. Oakville’s defence might be crap, but theyre goaltending is probably around tops in the league. Two solid goalies coming out night after night…

  22. Guelph’s defense isn’t very good at all, and defiantly did struggle this year. So, I would give Oakville better defense. Also, although Oakville does have decent forwards, I think Macdonald, Cremasco, and Canzi would dominate any line Oakville put out there against them. Overall, both teams are evenly matched, I think.

  23. brett richie (93 of the toronto marlies) is probably the sickest thing that has ever happened to hockey. he will be number 1 draft pick of the OHL.
also note brandon fox is the [censured]] sickest golaie in the leauge. his nickname is tron

  24. Craig must not have seen all the games this year between Oakville and Guelph. It seemed that at least one of the above line from Guelph (and you know who he is), that you suggest is superior to Oakville’s top line, spent a lot of time in the penalty box and was eventually ejected and suspended for another game during the last game of the season for trying to instigate a fight. How does that help his line and even moreso, his team?

  25. Well John, I was actually at that game and all of his penalties were for hitting to hard or were terrible calls. I also recall that Guelph’s top line still put up more points than Oakville’s even though they weren’t together the whole night due to garbage calls. Although he was ejected from the game and suspened it didn’t end up costing him anyhting other than a nothign game against Welland and in return showed his team that he wouldn’t take any crap from Oakville. Overall, I’m sure his team had no problem with him sticking up for himself and if anythign had have happened his teamates would have jumped right in to help i’m sure. Thus shwoing that they are a team and have each other’s backs.

  26. Perception is 9/10ths of reality my friend.

  27. who is justin sefton? on the 2011 nhl draft pick list it has him sixth why isnt he on here?

  28. andrew mcann is dominating at times i have seen him play and with a little growth could be a very high prospect.
im thinking between the second and fifth rounds.

  29. {forward on Guelph} was sticking up fro his teammates? are you kidding me??? he clearly has some control issues if near the end of a 3-2 game he flips out on the oakville players and basically tries to get away from the ref which if he did, could have gotten him suspended for a lot more. He deserved those penalties that he got. Hes a headshot and nothing else. A lazy player who will probably be taken by some OHL team as a fighter and a fourth liner. He may have some talent but when he gets angry, he is going to put someone in a coma someday with his flying elbows.
P.S. if Guelph can back up their players so well and are so tight, why did they go a cool 0-4 in the OMHA’s? while oakville lostout to getting to the semis in a tie break?

  30. Speaking of those two teams, Gueplh & Oakville… Who do you think has any potential to go anywhere out of those two teams…? And of course there are many other kids from Burlington & St.Kitts that are just great players ,but ya, im just curious what people think of those two teams..

  31. Watch out for John Wagenar from Petrolia, Ontario.

  32. i belive chris sacco should be up there for the niagara falls thunder

  33. LETTSS GOOO PUEEMPPP

  34. I watched Andrew Shutt for the York-Simcoe Express earlier this year. By far the worst skater I have ever seen. He should no be up their at all!

  35. i think so too. My dad was with me when we saw Andrew, he’s a scout for Innisfil Jr.a. He said the exact same thing.

  36. Shutt is by far the worst player in the OMHA. Oakville looks really good this year, they got a few new players that are strong and should help them get far.

  37. GO Jake Eansor!

  38. For whoever said moody from richmond hill is a retard. Moody wouldnt make most AA teams.

  39. Darcy Greenaway who played Quinte a couple years ago is also a kid to look for. He played B hockey in Loyalist this past year and got over 200 goals in just over 50 games, and led the team to the OMHA finals where they beat out Strthroy in 5 games to claim the OMHA Championships. He is an amazingly smooth, fast skater, and has lots of talent with the puck. He is definanatly a kid to keep an eye on this year.

  40. Darcy Greenaway is also a kid to look out for this coming year. He played Quinte a couple years ago, but this past year he was forced to play B hockey in Loyalist (place near Kingston). He easily led the team with over 200 goals in just over 50 games. He also led the Loyalist Jets to the OMHA championships where they beat out Strathroy in 5 games to claim the OMHA Championship. This kid is an amazingly smooth skater, and has alot of talent with the puck. He is definatly a kid that scouts should keep an on this year.

  41. Another kid to look for is Darcy Greenaway. He played Quinte a couple years ago, but this year he was forced to play B hockey for Loyalist (place near Kingston). He easily led his team in scoring getting over 200 goals in only about 60 games. He also led his team to the OMHA finals in the “B” Division and beat out Strathroy in 5 games to claim the OMHA Championship. This kid is an amazing skater, and is a gifted player with the puck. He has great potential to go far, and he should definatly be watched closely this coming year.

  42. im a AAA goalie and i have to say, the bset player ive seen in a while is either daniel cattenaci, adrew fritsch or mitch theoret. They are great players and will all probably go in the first round of next years draft.

  43. Is it true that Daniel Cattenaci is interested in Maine if he doesn’t play in the OHL?

  44. Daniel Catenacci will go 1st overall in the 2009 ohl draft

  45. Catenacci is not going number 1. Long ways away from the OHL draft yet. Matt Puempel may be the player going number 1.

  46. Justin Sefton is going is number one no questions asked

  47. i garenteed the Catenacci will go first, i had a chance to see him play a year up AAA, what a talent.

  48. where is Eric Wiebe and dylan Adams on this list for the notredame team

  49. Craig, I diagree, I beleive Guelph’s defensive core is stronger than Oakville’s and I also clearly disagree with John when he says that Oakville has the best two goalies in the league, Taylor O’keefe and Jeff Perret are easily tops in the league ask any coach in the league, I talked with the Halton Hurracaines coach and he agreed with me as well.

  50. where is barries star trent diaz?

  51. Although skilled Trent Diaz lacks the strong physical presence needed for hockey at the OHL level!!

  52. There are only 2 goalies out of the OEMHL AAA on the list,??? !! wow
You’re missing a lot of excellent Goalies of the OEMHL; example: Drew Lawson Upper Canada Cyclones. (Won the AAA OEMHL 2008). Also where is Dominic Plaschy, Ottawa Jr 67’s: (Played in the OHL Cup 2008 with Minor Midgets). They are a Backbone to their Teams, Consistent and Dependable.

  53. shut up trent, i know who you are, and you are number 11 for barrie on the AE team. Saggy was better then you, jk. Oh and i really like you easton stealth blue, pro stock too eh.

  54. shut up trent , i know who you are. You’re number 11 for barrie, Saggy’s better then you, jk. Oh and i really like your easton stealth blue, prostock too eh. And really come on, were gonna have to put you down.

  55. i disagree, I think that trent diaz has a great physical presence in the game.

  56. i dont

  57. i alos luv shoes

  58. how do i get on this ohl draft list?

  59. how much does it cost to get on this list

  60. joey romano first overall no questions asked ….. My friend is a scout with the Guelph Storm and he said he is a first rounder for sure

  61. Joey Romano is going first round no question. My friend is a scout for the Guelph Storm and he told me he is going first round for sure.

  62. obviously Justin Sefton is going first overall. He scored a Hatrick and got in a fight in the finals of his Jr. A championship game with the thunder bay kings. This was when he was only 1st year bantam. He even scored a goal vs. Carlyle moose mountain wild. He led Notre Dame to a 17-0 victory with that goal. No doubt, No question , 1st overall material

  63. Mark G are you kidding me? Have you not seen Oakvilles goalies this year? They picked up Chris Festerini from the GTHL arguably top 3 in the league. Their defense has also gotten better too. Read the threads on the forums, oakville is top 3 this year in the SCTA.

  64. Oh and Daulton, please put Sefton against top teir teams like york simcoe or marlies and well see how he does.

  65. Before that he played a tough talent in mack steele who matched him in goals but had less of a supporting staff to beat them. i think these two are the best none aa/aaa players out there.Steele had 140 points in only 40 games while getting 160 pims. Two gems out there.

  66. Darcy Greenaway is good. But he is too small. All these comments are all not true exept for maybe a couple. In my opinion Greenaway might go third or fourth round. Romano should be in the first round not first overall but top 8. Other then that the list up at the top is complete balone. There are a couple players up there that will go high in the draft but other then those 15-20 players there is no one. I cant forget to add this in my opinion some were in the first round probably top 5 is Doucet and Quine.

    Thanks

    Bill

  67. okay, oakville defense isnt crap, i play first line and we have someplayers that give it and some that do. wilton should definetly be on this list, he is a powerhouse natural born scorer and he is really good. number 11 billy bryer should be on a highr petistal. he has one of the hardest shots that i have ever seen on a 15 year old and he has great vision. he will definetly be picked up by an OHL team next year. Billy is one of the best athletes i have ever seen and all scouts you need to contact him. i am a scout from michigan and you will not be dissapointed.

    thanks

  68. I thought you said you play first line. LIAR

  69. lol wow ur a scout and a bantam hockey player!!!! Stop pimping urslef!!!

  70. Romano is a siv. Did guelph get their goon back from halton?

  71. Justin Sefton….Sefty! Will go first overall in the OHL draft in 2009…this is a kid that has it all, size, skating and a great shot. Pases the puck well and can drop the gloves and take care of him self as well. He will only get better as he will be on the Famous Notre Dame Hounds Midget AAA team next year.

  72. sure he will dad!!!

  73. Romano is terrible, he should be playing AA….that’s if he had a good tryout

  74. Kord And Martineau from Timmins should be on this list hands down!
probably 2 of the best 93 players around!

  75. I think tyson fawcett is going number one in the draft.

  76. Fox, Hope and Allen should crack this list from what I have seen out of them. Hell, Fox could go top 2 rounds from what I heard.
    -Mark

  77. who made this stupid list Scott Sopel got cut from Central This year and is playing for one of the worst teams in AA! Wow he was a good selection not that I am hating on Scott

  78. oh yea and from Markham to

  79. why are you saying this sopel kid shouldnt be on here? maybe someone saw something in him that they liked

  80. Scott is a good friend of mine and I’m really proud of him for making this list. Now, I’m not sure, but I believe that he didn’t tryout for Markham, and I’m pretty sure he just had some bad tryouts for central. Anyways, the point is that no one who has commented here is probably even on this list so back the f*ck off Scott and stop pissin’ and moanin’ that he’s better than you!!!!

  81. For clarification to WOW, Scott was cut from Central in order that he be able to tryout for Markham. He was also trying out for Rugby at the same time as hockey tryouts were going on. Markham released him and given that they only have 2 points after 10 games probably wished they had him. He never had any intention of being drafted by the big “O” so decided to play for Uxbridge AA. If you check the stats you will find they are not the worst team in AA but rather in the middle of the pack and he has made a huge difference for this team. His first priority is his school marks and maintaining an “A” average. Due to juggling a part-time job, hockey, football, high school and provincial rugby and school–AAA practice travel would have been too much this year. He is enjoying his AA year, still has his “A” average, will travel to Wales with the school Rugby team and is doing fine. You should also realize that the scout that noticed his play most likely sawpotential on a given day. Someone else might have made the list on another day or at another venue. However, most of the players that make this list are at least average to above average players with a decent stature. He has all of the above. However, even Scott does not regard this list as something he can take to the bank, not yet!

  82. what about Michael Flynn from Oshawa. The kid plays like a train. He’s 5 foot 9, 195 lbs. hes as solid as they get. Look out for this kid he should be top 10 if hes not already.

  83. oakville is terrible this year

  84. why is no one talking about the talent in aa. There is a lot of good talent in aa that could go junior or even to the “o” show. on the minor midget toronto aeros defenceman #55 and #9 are great skaters, pass the puck very well, physical, and good shots. when you guys get a chance come out and watch them play. its a treat.

  85. they will be a steal in the “o” draft or junior draft. there only going to get better.

  86. scouts there schedule is at http://www.gthlcanada.com. they play in minor midget aa east. you won’t be dissapointed.

  87. Repy for Dary Greenaway. Maybe if he had played his caliber of hockey last year like “AAA” he WOULD NOT HAVE SCORED 200 GOALS. What a joke “B” Hockey. Most kids can score 100+ goals at that level. Put him in his own caliber of hockey and see just what he can do. Average player I think.

    • you think “b” is a joke? thats why we beat teams that are “A” and “AA” while loyalist had like 6-7 AAA players on there team that year but darcy was the better one out of all of them.

  88. does anyone know when the 94 addition is coming out?

    • No set date, be assured Canadian Hockey News will post it as soon as it is made available.

  89. I”ll say it again why is no one talking about the talent level #55 and #9 poses. People need to go out and see them play. You’ll be amazed. They play Saturday, January 3rd at 4:15pm at Chesswood Rink #2

  90. When i whatched Darcy Greenway play in the OMHA finals , he didnt even stand out. 2 kids shut him down from strathroy (Shawn Grogan,Nic Kowaluk)

  91. If Greenaway is getting shut down by “b” hockey players hes not goin anywhere. My team dummied him in the silver stick lastyear hes over rated

  92. I’ll say it again why is no one talking about the talent level #55 and #9 poses. They are great players and will be a steal in the OHL draft or in the Junior A draft. Scouts out there need to come out and watch them. You will not be disappointed. They play for the Toronto Aeros Minor Midget AA East. You can see there schedule at:

  94. the 1994 one should be out today where is it?

  95. Has anyone seen Shawn Grogan play from strathroy From what I hear he has some talent.

  96. We played both teams at silversticks , Loyalist and Strathroy ( in finals) talented kids on both teams. Komosara and Tubinis are big solid players for Niagara Jr Purple Eagles.

  97. Mike Curtis all the way, hes soo sick and he’ll murk all you so shut your mouths. everyone on that list is crap but curtis

  98. Minor Midgets for strathroy this year had a great time I heard. they won OMHA easily. Does anyone know who their top players were?

  99. i know they played loayalist in the playoffs and swept them. They won everygame im playoffs going 13-0-0 but who were the elite players?

  100. What about the Grant kid?
    He is good.
I watched him play he is great.
The Greenaway kid is good to.

  101. Where is Brady Austin?

  102. The comment posted above by Bill Jones, was actually me. And i will be drafted to the OHL because im a big dumb idiot.

  103. GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!☺

  104. Ya the Habs might be out this year early. But at least they made it not like Toronto or Ottawa.

  105. Go Canes Go!!!!!!!!!!!
    Crosby sucks!!!!!!

  106. this list doesnt even have all the kids from the first 2 rounds in the ohl draft….

  107. Interesting to look at the list after a few years and having the player’s body of work to consider.

  108. rent wheelchair accessible vans
