GMHL and OPJHL Seasons Underway

Both the GMHL and OPJHL begin their season. This makes Junior Hockey in Canada very intesting, the clash of the old guard (Hockey Canada) and young blood (the unsancitioned Greater Metro Junior Hockey League). I can’t help but comment on the fact that both leagues have their drawing points as well as their flaws. As a player I don’t quite know where I would play. The GMHL offers development and LOTS of practive. Whereas the OPJHL offers stability and a different style of hockey (very similar to the NHL standard). What ever the decision, all player who want to progress should remain commited to their development. As Sven Goran Eriksson says:

“The greatest barrier to success is the fear of failure.”
