Both Ethan Werek and Daniel Erlich are participating in the 2007 World Under 18 Group II Championships (Division A). The two played for the Toronto Marlboros in the GTHL. They were forced to miss the U17 Tryout Camp for Ontario in the Canada Winter games. The two have played one game at the international tournament. Current Daniel Erlich is sixth in scoring after the first day of games.

  1. Unfortunately, Werek was advised by his agent ,through Hockey Canada , if he played for another country this year he would not be eligible to play for any Canadian National team for the next four years. Four days before leaving to join the Israeli National Team in Hungary he decided that he did not want to jeopordize his dream of playing for Canada. Therefore he respectfully declined the honour of playing for Israel ,which the team fully understood and accepted. This was imparted to me by Werek’s agent. BTW . I know Werek led the OHL Cup in scoring does anyone know how many points Werek got in the regular season?
