OPJHL has a new Catholic High School

The Ontario Provincial Hockey League has approved the entrance of St. Thomas of Villanova College for compertion in the 2007/2008 season. This make them the second catholic secondary school to enter into the league. The will be known as the Villanova Knights (logo pictured left). They are holding a Rookie Camp on May 28-May 30. They will be playing at Canlan Ice Sports York (formerly York IceGardens). They will be competing in the North Division, against the national champions the Aurora Tigers. Their program will be intensly focused on education with by the third year, all players will be enrolled in St. Thomas of Villanova Secondary School or a college or university.
